Our Mission

With the help of our exceptional animal companions, we seek to provide affection, well-being and support to all those in need.

Our Vision

Our goal for the future is to allow P.A.W.S. Therapy Team to become recognized as an integral part of the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of members of our community.

Therapy Dogs make a PAWS-ative impact

We bring well trained, certified, therapy dogs to provide comfort in school settings, nursing and assisted living facilities, in times of crisis— anywhere people could use love from a four-legged friend.

What We Do

Since our beginnings in 2000, we have been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Organization upon: Providing Affection Well-being and Support. The P.A.W.S. handler/dog teams are dedicated to placing well-trained, certified therapy dog teams in programs that provide comfort and caring through a canine-human bond. This will be done through services that provide comfort to any business, organization, school, health facility and its clients, employees, students and patients that wish to receive the services. Teams provide help to victims in distress and work with our servicemen, first responders, and anywhere a therapy/comfort dog is needed. The P.A.W.S Therapy Team will also host and/or participate in events for charitable and other organizations where therapy dogs can enhance the experience.

Why Our Dogs Are Special

Every dog who wears the special P.A.W.S vest has one thing in common, extensive special training. Each dog must pass an AKC-approved Good Canine Citizenship test and undergo a two-day training and testing.
