PAWS Therapy Team is excited to announce that we are now a certified division of The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc., ( B&BTD) and we abide by the strict rules and guidelines set forth by our parent organization. We welcome all members of Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs to become a part of our group at any time. There are no limitations on when you can join us.

At PAWS Therapy Team, we believe in the healing power of the human-canine bond. Our mission is to bring comfort, connection, and compassion to our community through certified therapy dog teams dedicated to serving others.
We support volunteer handlers and their dogs through testing, certification, registration, and insurance, ensuring every team is prepared to safely and confidently share the joy and encouragement that therapy dogs provide.
Our certified therapy dog teams serve the Mahoning and Trumbull County communities.
Our teams visit people of all ages in schools, libraries, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living communities, hospices, veteran programs, community events, and other settings where comfort and companionship are needed most. Through gentle interactions and unconditional acceptance, therapy dogs help ease loneliness, reduce stress, encourage social engagement, and brighten difficult days.
PAWS Therapy Team dogs are specially trained to provide affection and emotional support to people beyond their own families. Alongside their handlers, they serve as ambassadors of kindness, offering moments of hope, healing, and connection wherever they are welcomed.
Whether reading with a child, comforting a hospital patient, supporting first responders and military personnel, visiting seniors, or responding during times of crisis, our teams are committed to making a positive difference—one visit, one smile, and one paw at a time.
